Itinerary

Arrive in Medellín, famously known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” due to its year-round mild climate.

Activities:
Upon arrival, you will have free time to relax at your hotel or start exploring Medellín on your own. Stroll through the local parks or soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city’s streets. If you wish, dive into Medellín’s nightlife or unwind at a local café, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

Activities:
Today, visit some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Begin at Botero Plaza, where you can admire the large sculptures created by Colombia’s famous artist, Fernando Botero. Next, explore the Museo de Antioquia, home to an impressive collection of Latin American art. Continue your tour with a visit to Barefoot Park, a unique space designed for relaxation and meditation, encouraging visitors to walk barefoot and connect with
nature. The rest of the day is free for leisure or additional exploration.

Today, you can choose between a couple of optional excursions or enjoy Medellín at your own pace.

Activities:
You have the option of visiting Santa Elena, a charming village known for its vibrant flower culture and the famous "Silleteros" tradition, where local flower growers create intricate flower arrangements carried on their backs during the annual flower festival. Alternatively, opt for a full-day excursion to Guatapé and Piedra del Peñol. Climb the 656-foot high Peñol Rock, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and countryside. Afterward, explore the colorful town of Guatapé, known for its lively streets and artistic facades.

Fly to Cartagena, Colombia’s Caribbean jewel, and explore its rich colonial history.

Activities:
After landing in Cartagena, begin your exploration with a visit to the iconic San Felipe Castle, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. Following this, you will venture into the heart of the Old City, wandering through its colorful streets lined with colonialera buildings. Stop at "The Vaults," a series of historical archways built in the 1700s, which have since been transformed into artisan shops. In the evening, take time to explore Cartagena’s vibrant nightlife or savor local seafood at one of the many restaurants.

Today offers another opportunity for optional activities or a free day to continue exploring Cartagena.

Activities:
You may choose to embark on a bird-watching excursion to the Colombian National Aviary, where you will encounter a diverse range of bird species in their natural habitat. Alternatively, participate in an Emerald Jewelry Workshop, where you will not only learn about Colombia’s famed emeralds but also have the chance to craft your own piece of jewelry as a unique souvenir. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore more of
Cartagena on your own, perhaps visiting the city’s beaches or taking a boat ride to nearby islands.

Fly to Bogota, the bustling capital of Colombia, where history meets modernity.

Activities:
Upon arrival in Bogota, you will have free time to explore the city at your own pace. One option is a visit to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, a remarkable underground cathedral built inside a functioning salt mine. Later, enjoy a guided city tour of Bogota, starting with the colonial district of La Candelaria. Stroll through the narrow streets lined with colorful houses and historical buildings. Visit the Plaza de Bolivar, home to the city’s
main government buildings, and the world-famous Gold Museum, where you can marvel at the largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold artifacts.

Spend your final full day in Bogota enjoying optional activities or discovering more of the city.

Activities:
If you wish, take an optional funicular train ride up Monserrate Mountain, where you will be greeted with stunning views of downtown Bogota and the surrounding Andes mountains. The rest of the day is free for you to explore more of the city, perhaps visiting one of Bogota’s many parks or markets, before returning to your hotel for the evening.

As your adventure through Colombia comes to an end, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
